Initial Notice

Section 47 of the The Building Act 1984

The Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc.) (England) Regulation 2024.


The Initial Notice form serves two purposes, first it informs the Local Authority that the Building Control on your project will be undertaken by the Building Control Approver (formerly Private Approved Inspector) and secondly it registers the project on the Local Authority's system so that future legal searches can be carried out by conveyancing Solicitors.
